The Friends of A1A Historic and Scenic Coastal Byway invites you to enjoy the beautiful 72-miles of A1A that stretches from the northern part of St. Johns County, to downtown St. Augustine and ending near Flagler Beach at the Volusia County line.

To help you along the way, the Friends of A1A has pointers for you, such as suggested routes, places you might want to see or visit. We’ve even included places the spouse (or significant others), kids and even grandkids may want to visit.

At the same time, we know you’ll want a photo of you with your HOG to remember the weekend by, so we’ve arranged that too. We’ll be right inside the Holiday Inn at St. Augustine Beach on Oct. 21-24. Visit our table and receive instructions on where and when picture taking of you and your HOG will occur. Memorable moving photos will be snapped on Wednesday morning and Thusday morning between 8 am and 9 am at Anastasia State Park along the entrance to St. Augusitne Beach (CR-A1A). Still photos of you and your bike with the scenic beach as the backdrop will be available at the St. Johns County Pier Park Friday and Saturday.  And we have developed some cool ride routes you may like - see below. We’ll also have on hand some commemorative ball caps, bandanas and T-shirts for you to take home.

Since we live here and know the local sights, we’ve compiled some suggestions for your fun weekend. Enjoy!
