A fun and educational day with workshops, activities, exhibits, vendors, and entertainment

EVENT DETAILS
Purpose: Bringing like-minded organizations together with the public for a fun and educational day of learning about our coastal environment
Activities: *Twelve indoor and in-the-field workshops * Exhibits * Vendor booths * Science Fair projects * Environmental activities * Storytelling * Clowns and facepainting * Music
Educators Forum: An interactive session designed for educators with Keynote Speaker, Michael Klubock, on how to ignite and inspire environmental learning in youth.
Who Should Attend: Familes, educators, and anyone interested in learning more about the A1A coastal environment
Ticket Price: All workshops, presentations, and activities are FREE. Box lunch and beverages available on-site for a nominal charge.
Keynote Speaker: Michael Klubock, Founder and Executive Director of the Malibu Foundation for Environmental Education and nationally acclaimed speaker, will inspire and motivate you to become stewards of our coastal environments.

Workshop Presenters: Scientists, educators, and writers will conduct one-hour interactive workshops on coastal topics encompassed by the A1A Byway.

Experienced and knowledgeable instructors, leaders, researchers and professionals will provide an exciting day of learning within six core learning tracks addressing critical coastal conservation strategies for Byway success and sustainability:
