Flagship Harbor Preserve & Moody Boat Launch


Flagship Harbor Preserve is a 300-acre preserve along the Intracoastal Waterway. Flagship Harbor Preserve & Moody Boat Launch It was once an airport, at which Charles Lindbergh landed. The Preserve offers hiking trails through coastal scrub communities as well as a 3000-foot boardwalk through the saltwater marsh. It connects with the Wickline Center and its additional recreational opportunities, including playgrounds, tennis courts, and a basketball court. Free boat launch facilities are available at Moody Boat Launch, located on the northern edge of the Preserve.

Walk the trails and stroll the boardwalk for a close-up view of the plants and animals of these marine communities in their natural habitat. Enjoy bird watching; fish from the pier; or treat yourself to a picnic.

Facilities: Pavilion, parking, restrooms, elevated boardwalk, and nature trails.
