The City of St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied city in the United States. Founded in 1565, St. Augustine is the home to numerous historical sites including the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the St. Augustine Lighthouse Museum and Park and Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth. Walk along the Bridge of Lions and through the City Gates, once used to protect the City. Meander through the country's oldest central plaza, downtown St. Augustine, or explore Antique Row dotted with large, Victorian-style homes and shopping delights.
